Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional SAM team. The role covers LATAM and international regions, focusing on licensing decisions, compliance, and optimization across a diverse software portfolio.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to prioritize in a high-volume, multi-publisher environment. English and Spanish proficiency required to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing broad software portfolios across multiple publishers.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments and reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
