Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, overseeing licensing decisions across Latin America and other regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and publishers to optimize software usage and ensure compliance.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive requests and adapt to diverse licensing models

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
