Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team and drive licensing decisions across Latin America and other regions. You will handle licensing requests, evaluate entitlements, and ensure compliance while coordinating with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models, and the ability to operate in a high-volume, multivendor environment. Strong English and Spanish skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM, licensing or ITAM responsibilities.
• Understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing broad software portfolios across publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requests.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to licensing details.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle with accuracy and timeliness.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing data.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
