Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing across a large regional portfolio in Latin America and globally. The role requires hands-on SAM experience, licensing model expertise, and cross-functional collaboration across IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to ensure compliance and optimization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization or audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics, and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain records for software assets and entitlements, including purchasing and licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, and reporting; identify cost-efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
