Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to drive licensing decisions across Latin America and other regions. You will manage the software portfolio, coordinate renewals, and work with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering teams to ensure compliance and optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to operate in a high-volume, multi-vendor environment with English and Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with software licensing or IT Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing broad software portfolios across multiple publishers.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage high-volume priorities and contribute to SAM process improvements.
