Political Asylum Lawyers is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager (Hands-on) to lead the firm’s financial operations, reporting, and controls. This role blends accounting expertise with practical operations, driving trust accounting, billing, cash flow, and budgeting in a fast-paced legal services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end close.
• Experience with billing systems and trust accounting.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Experience using AI tools to improve accounting workflows.
• Ability to explain financial information to non-financial leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
