Political Asylum Lawyers is seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to lead the firm’s financial operations, including accounting systems, billing, accounts receivable, payroll, and trust accounting. This hands-on role supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for the firm’s asylum practice across the United States.

You’ll communicate complex financial information clearly, manage internal controls, and coordinate with leadership to improve profitability and financial health.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end close.
• Experience with trust/IOLTA accounting and reconciliations.
• Experience with billing systems and client payment plans.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, billing, accounts receivable, payroll, and trust accounting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budgets, forecasting cash flow and variances.
• Own billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes to improve cash flow.
• Maintain internal controls, risk management, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with Owner/CFO and external vendors to optimize systems and reporting.
