Political Asylum Lawyers seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, systems, billing, A/R, payroll, and trust accounting. You’ll drive reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while partnering with leadership to support profitability and strategic planning.

The role is hands-on, learning the firm’s systems, and evolving to delegate routine work while maintaining controls. This position requires clear communication and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Experience with billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end close is preferred.
• Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-financial leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial operations, accounting systems, billing, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budget variance analyses.
• Oversee trust/IOLTA accounting compliance and internal controls.
• Lead billing, collections, and client invoicing processes.
• Support strategic planning, pricing, and discretionary decisions.
