Political Asylum Lawyers seeks an Accounting & Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations, including billing, A/R/A/P, payroll, and trust accounting. You will drive monthly reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring accuracy and compliance for a U.S.-facing immigration practice.

The role combines hands-on accounting with strategic planning, risk management, and leadership of the finance team, reporting to the Owner/CFO and collaborating across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years in accounting/finance roles.
• Experience in law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, payroll, and month-end close.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day financial operations: billing, A/R, A/P, payroll, trust accounting, tax coordination.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and budgets, forecast cash flow, and analyze variances.
• Oversee billing processes, collections, and client payments; maintain internal controls.
• Ensure trust/IOLTA accounting compliance and reconciliation.
• Lead finance team, mentor staff, and manage external vendors.
• Support strategic planning with financial analysis and KPI reporting.
