Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the global SAM team. You will manage licensing across Latin America and other regions, collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering to align licensing with business needs.

The role requires hands-on licensing expertise, strong attention to detail, and the ability to move quickly between publishers and requests in a high-volume environment. English and Spanish proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience and licensing knowledge.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers and models.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers/models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage high-volume workload and continuously improve SAM processes.
