Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team, focusing on licensing across Latin America and international regions. The role requires practical SAM experience, licensing model expertise, and strong collaboration with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams.

The position involves managing licensing lifecycles, renewals, compliance, and optimization efforts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a mix of regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent, named-user, cloud).
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and vendors.
• Handle high volumes with priority setting and process improvement.
