Job summary

WSP’s global Software Asset Management team is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to manage licensing across Latin America and international regions, handling node-locked, concurrent, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses. You will work with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, publishers and stakeholders to support licensing decisions, compliance and optimization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements, and adapt quickly between publishers and requests.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
