Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join a global SAM team, managing licensing across LATAM and international regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and publishers to support accurate licensing decisions, timely service delivery, compliance and software optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to move quickly between publishers and requests in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers and licensing conditions.
• Entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization, audits experience.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requests.
• Analytical, detail oriented with licensing information accuracy.
• Advanced English and Spanish with regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset/entitlement records.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations, and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits, reporting, cost optimization.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and external vendors.
