Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the global SAM team, managing licensing across Latin America and international regions. You will collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and publishers to support accurate licensing decisions, compliance and software optimization.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience, knowledge of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS), strong analytical skills and fluency in English and

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM/ITAM experience with SAM responsibilities.
• Understanding licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and prioritize time-sensitive requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
