Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for accelerating learning and impact across the early breeding pipeline. You will steer standards, technology agendas, and adoption at scale across crops and regions worldwide.

The role requires senior leadership experience in technology, breeding, and R&D with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and translate science into actionable strategies.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and quantitative genetics.
• Proven ability to collaborate across regions and functions to drive innovation.
• Demonstrated commitment to Bayer Values: Ambition, Collaboration and Creativity.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for accelerating research and impact across the early breeding pipeline.
• Establish standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decision making.
• Lead enabling-technology agenda in accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and digital workflows.
• Drive adoption of new practices across crops and regions at scale.
