Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the multi-year plan for accelerating research across the early breeding pipeline. You will steer standards for evidence, manage digital workflows, and align investments with global strategies in precision breeding and genomics.

You will partner with Capability Center leadership, collaborate with universities, and ensure ethical practices and regulatory compliance across crops and regions.

• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, and analytics
• Lead adoption of innovative practices across crops and regions
• Own the impact narrative with metrics on cycle time and genetic gain
• Provide technical and strategic input to Capability Center initiatives
• Contribute to Global Breeding strategies and the Long-Range Plan
• Engage universities to attract future talent and position Bayer as a strategic destination
• Collaborate with commercial and product teams to align acceleration with business goals
• Maintain strong HS&E, Compliance, DEI, and Human Rights practices across the hub
