Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative/Statistical Genetics, Data Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and/or quantitative genetics.
• Ability to collaborate across regions and functions; cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline.
• Establish standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence to enable rapid iteration.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, predictive analytics, and digital workflows.
• Lead adoption strategy and embed new practices across crops and regions at scale.
• Define and report acceleration value through cycle time, genetic gain, and adoption metrics.
