Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative/Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, or quantitative genetics.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and analytics.
• Lead adoption strategy and embed new practices across crops and regions at scale.
• Own the impact narrative with metrics on cycle time, genetic gain, cost, and adoption.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to the Capability Center and focus areas.
• Engage universities to attract future talent and strengthen Bayer's presence.
