Job summary
A leading payment solutions provider is seeking a highly skilled candidate in the United Arab Emirates with expertise in cross-border payments and fluency in French and English. Qualifications
- Fluent in French and English, both written and verbal.
- In depth understanding of the cross-border payment sector and multi-currency payment solutions.
- Knowledge of omnichannel payments and retail integration.

Responsibilities
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert on the Global Blue platform and solutions.
- Lead pre-sales and technical integration calls.
- Attend conferences and client-facing meetings.
- Provide technical guidance for solution design and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Solve implementation issues and lead internal process improvements.

Job description
The role has the following primary responsibilities:
- Expert in French language both written and verbal
- In depth understanding of the cross border payment sector with specific knowledge with Multi Currency payment solution.
- Knowledge on in Omni Channel payments including integration with POS and PMS systems in the retail and hospitality sector.
- Knowledge on tokenisation and how it applies to payments.
- Ability to be present a solution sale to large groups, including internal employee training sessions as well as client/partner meetings
- Ability to become a Subject Matter Expert on the Global Blue platform and our solutions
- Contribute to responses for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP)
- Review incoming technical requests and respond to questions for the Sales, Account Management and other client-facing teams
- Lead pre-sales and technical integration calls, including hotel and retail point-of-sale, ecommerce and mobile integration discussions - Includes taking minutes and performing research on the potential merchant/partner prior to the call to ensure that we understand their environment, products and solutions
- Attend conferences, presentations and other client-facing meetings as needed
- Provide technical input and guidance into the solution design and ensure all designs will work in line with industry standards including scheme mandates
- Guide and assist team members in term of technical and domain knowledge, professional skills, and correct delivery according to the stipulated timeline
- Solve implementation and/or migration problems or ensure that they are resolved timeously by the available resources.
- Participate in any project retrospectives and contribute to internal process improvement and maturation.
- Liaise with other business groups where necessary.
Key competencies
- Must have knowledge of as many of the followings as possible: AS2805, ISO8583, ISO20022, Card Scheme Specifications, and other payments message protocols and transport mechanisms such as TCP/IP, REST API, SOAP/XML
- Experience with payments and point of sale integration in the hotel and retail sector
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Proactive work ethic Within the scope of the relevant projects, act as a technical consultant to the internal team on platform design and capabilities and recommendations on customisations
- Technical lead implementation (need to be hands‑on), and ensure its on‑time delivery and within IT budget
- Ensure that solutions and projects are specified and documented appropriately, according to the agreed deliverables and process.
