EMIR is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Marketing Manager / Senior Marketing Manager to join our elite team at Boardroom by EMIR. This is a high-impact, remote-based role. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing EMIR's marketing strategy to drive growth, enhance audience engagement, and strengthen the organisation's brand presence across the region.

You will lead key marketing initiatives, including event campaigns, email and social media strategies, and data-driven audience targeting, working closely with the Marketing & Event Operations Director to ensure all marketing efforts align with EMIR's business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in integrated marketing, a deep understanding of B2B and event marketing, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

How You Will Lead

How You Will Contribute
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
    You will be responsible for creating and executing EMIR's overarching marketing strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives. This includes managing the marketing calendar, overseeing team performance to ensure timely delivery of initiatives, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). By consistently evaluating the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adapting strategies as needed, you will drive growth and engagement while ensuring all initiatives are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Oversee Event Marketing & Execution:
    This role will require you to manage all marketing aspects of EMIR events, from campaign planning and email communications to engagement strategies. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive branding across all event-related initiatives. Additionally, you will analyse and report on event marketing performance, leveraging insights to optimise future campaigns and improve overall event success.
  • Drive Data & Audience Marketing:
    In this role, you will develop and implement audience segmentation strategies to personalise campaigns and effectively target key demographics. By leveraging data insights, you will drive qualified leads through event and content marketing initiatives and improve campaign efficiency through the application of marketing automation processes. This data-driven approach will ensure campaigns are impactful and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Lead Email & Social Media Strategy:
    You will oversee the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with EMIR's brand voice and objectives. Furthermore, you will manage social media strategies to grow EMIR's digital presence and enhance audience engagement. By driving thought leadership initiatives, including interviews and content creation, you will position EMIR as a trusted advisor and leader in the industry.
Required Skills, Education & Experience
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years in marketing with team management experience. Marketing in events or B2B sectors is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement.
  • Event Marketing: Expertise in executing high-impact event campaigns aligned with brand and commercial goals.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Ability to mentor, manage, and elevate a high-performing marketing team.
  • CRM & Marketing Automation: Experience with tools like HubSpot for lead segmentation, email marketing, and campaign optimisation.
  • Data-Driven Marketing: Proficiency in audience segmentation, data analysis, and using insights to refine campaigns and drive engagement.
  • AI Tools: Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, automation platforms) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.
  • Client-Facing Communication: Confident and professional in managing executive and VIP stakeholder needs.
  • Results-Oriented & Proactive Mindset: Highly adaptable, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, strong presentation skills, and the interpersonal finesse to influence stakeholders at all levels.
