Job summary
A local coffee shop in Abu Dhabi Emirate is seeking an experienced barista to prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages. Your role involves supervising the barista team, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high standards of customer service and coffee quality. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a barista with expertise in specialty coffee preparation.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and milk textures.

- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages with consistency.
- Supervise barista team during shifts.
- Train and mentor junior baristas effectively.

- Train, mentor, and develop junior baristas in coffee preparation, service standards, and customer engagement.
- Maintain inventory of coffee beans, milk, and related supplies; coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and functioning properly.
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and operational standards in line with company and local regulations.
- Monitor daily performance, provide feedback, and report operational metrics to management.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism.
- Support development of new coffee menus and seasonal offerings.
- Assist in scheduling, staff allocation, and shift management to optimize workflow.
- Proven experience as a barista with expertise in specialty coffee preparation.
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, milk textures, and espresso extraction.
