Job Title: Junior Accountant
Location: UAE (Middle East coverage)
Department: Finance

Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and post daily financial transactions accurately (AP/AR/GL)

  • Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

  • Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements

  • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts regularly

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records

  • Assist with VAT preparation and compliance

  • Coordinate with auditors and provide supporting documents

  • Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting software is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
