The primary responsibility of this role is to dispense medications according to prescription and provide appropriate advice on their usage. The successful candidate will be expected to effectively manage the inventory, control the quality of pharmaceutical products, ensure safe storage of drugs, maintain records in accordance with legal requirements and communicate professionally with customers. Additionally, they will be responsible for providing medical advice regarding health care products and answering questions related to drug interactions and side effects.
The ideal candidate must possess a valid Pharmacy degree or equivalent qualification along with relevant experience. They should demonstrate excellent customer service skills as well as the ability to provide accurate information in an understandable manner. Additionally, they should have good knowledge of pharmacology, medicine preparation, dispensing techniques and inventory management principles. The successful candidate should possess strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
