Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Controls Assistant to support the design team in planning, monitoring, and reporting project performance. This junior-level role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in project controls, gaining hands-on experience in supporting multidisciplinary design projects.

Your role
  • Support the design team in tracking project progress, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating project control systems, dashboards, and reports.
  • Collect and validate data related to project performance, costs, and resource usage.
  • Help prepare progress reports, charts, and key performance summaries for internal reviews.
  • Support project managers with monitoring of key milestones, deliverables, and risk registers.
  • Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure accurate input of schedule and cost data.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with project governance standards.
  • Assist in identifying variances and supporting corrective action tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project control processes and tools.
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
  • Ideally 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or junior role in a design, construction, or project delivery environment).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Keen attention to detail and an interest in data-driven project delivery.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
