Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing Smart Cities projects in the ME region.
  • Experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) is a plus.

Overview

As a Senior Technical Engineering Manager, you will lead the strategic integration of smart services within urban development projects, ensuring alignment with the overarching Smart City vision, sustainability goals, and mobility objectives. You will oversee the technical delivery, quality assurance, and standardization of smart systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and regulatory compliance across all design and implementation phases.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Smart services align with the overall Smart City vision, sustainability and mobility objectives, and support broader development strategies.
  • Ensure power, ICT, and communications infrastructure is in place to enable full Smart City implementation.
  • Oversee QA of all Smart City deliverables from design consultants.
  • Ensure timely integration of smart services across all design packages.
  • Enforce standardization of smart systems to ensure interoperability and seamless integration with the central command and control centre.
  • Assess and report on design changes affecting smart services or retrofit implications.
  • Coordinate with Smart City, ICT consultants, and authorities to ensure alignment and regulatory compliance.
  • Track smart service compliance and provide structured progress updates.
  • Ensure alignment between Smart City, Digital Twin, and BIM.
Qualifications
  • Utilize his experience in providing robust Smart City architecture and system architecture designs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across the project.
  • Experience software development life cycle SDLC is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15years of experience in the geospatial, Digital Twin, and ICT industry with a proven track record of successfully implementing Smart Cities projects in the ME region.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience in leading diverse teams of technical professionals, consultants,and analysts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Presentation skills.
