Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate the smooth conduct of anesthesia in the operating rooms.
2. Assist anesthetists with anesthetic procedures.
3. Prepare appropriate anesthesia supplies and equipment for cases and respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations.
4. Demonstrate knowledge and consideration of age-specific issues, meeting the needs of patients of all ages from birth to geriatrics.
5. Consistently monitor, order, and follow supply levels of medication, store supplies, and special order items. Be reliable in your duties.
6. Assist anesthesiologists with difficult intubation, regional blocks, line placements, and administration of anesthesia in satellite areas.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care.
8. Exemplify the company’s vision, mission, and values.
9. Respect patients’ rights to confidentiality.
10. Take personal responsibility for client service.
11. Understand and adhere to corporate policies and procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma or Degree in Anesthesia Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Application of anesthetic knowledge in clinical practice.
• Effective communication skills with anesthetists, technicians, patients, and staff.
• Effective planning and technical skills.
