This hands-on leadership role focuses on product scalability and collaboration within fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive development experience, particularly in Java and microservices.
Job description
We re hiring a Lead Full Stack Developer to help shape the architecture and evolution of next-gen identity and payment solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you ll drive technical direction, guide your team, and build reliable, scalable products in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a development squad and take ownership of deliverables
Design and build new product features with scalability and reliability in mind
Guide and mentor developers; set coding standards and best practices
Collaborate with operations and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment
Contribute to and lead code reviews, testing frameworks, and debugging
Work with modern Java frameworks (Spring Boot, JSF), APIs, and microservices
Evaluate code from internal and outsourced teams for quality and fitness
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What We re Looking For
8+ years of development experience (Java essential; .NET is a plus)
3+ years leading and mentoring dev teams
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Postgres, and microservices architecture
Background in payments, banking transactions, or card networks
Proficient in secure coding, multithreading, API-first design, and design patterns
Comfortable working across teams and taking initiative in fast-moving environments
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
This is more than a coding role it s about leading from the front and building something that works at scale.
