A reputable flooring company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Outdoor Salesperson to drive commercial business growth. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outdoor sales experience, strong product knowledge in the wood and flooring industry, and excellent communication skills. This role involves meeting sales targets, conducting product demonstrations, and building strong client relationships. A valid UAE driving license is required for extensive travel.

Job description

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Outdoor Salesperson. The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations as well as expanding our market presence.

Responsibilities
  • SALES TARGETS: Meet and exceed the monthly or quarterly sales targets
  • SALES & CLIENT ACQUISITION: Actively seek out new customers like contractors, builders, interior designers, architects, etc.
  • PRODUCT PRESENTATIONS: Demonstrate and present the products showcasing the range, quality and application of wood and wooden flooring to clients.
  • MARKET ANALYSIS: Be updated with the current market trends, local competitor prices and sales strategies.
  • BUILDING STRONG CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS: Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and offer after-sales support.
  • COORDINATION & REPORTING: Coordinate with the team to ensure that all clients receive quotations on time. Update management regularly on sales reports and client feedback.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Outdoor Sales. Knowledge in the Wood and Flooring industry is an advantage.
  • Strong product knowledge and understanding of wood and flooring types and applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and closing deal skills.
  • Must have a UAE valid driving license as the role requires extensive travel within UAE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing has an advantage, though relevant work experience may substitute.
