POSITION SUMMARY
Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in supporting vital hotel functions. They may work across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to support cleaning needs. Responsibilities include preparing fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers, and dryers), and transporting dishware or linens across the hotel. These associates do whatever it takes to get the job done efficiently.
Key expectations for all positions include creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, maintaining a professional appearance and communication, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to concerns. Employees should report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to their manager. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and reaching overhead or below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by Supervisors.
