Job summary
A digital media company is seeking a digitally savvy Editor to lead content for Time Out Ras Al Khaimah. This fully remote position requires experience in digital and social media, excellent SEO knowledge, and a passion for the local landscape. The ideal candidate will curate content across platforms, manage social channels, and ensure editorial standards are maintained. Applicants should be detail-oriented and organized, with fluency in English; Arabic is desirable.

- Lead content creation for Time Out Ras Al Khaimah.
- Manage social media channels and newsletter content.
- Ensure content optimization and adherence to editorial standards.

Full / part time fully remote within Ras Al Khaimah.
Time Out is looking for a digitally savvy Editor to lead its content across news listicles and features on soontolaunch timeoutrasalkhaimah and associated social channels. Based in Ras Al Khaimah the ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of digital and social media content creation. Applicants should be dialled into the emirate s goingout scene with a strong understanding of the local landscape.
- Responsible for daily content creation and curation across Time Out Ras Al Khaimah digital and social platforms including listicle and feature formats.
- Plan write edit and publish an agreed daily volume of digital articles to timeoutrasalkhaimah using Time Out s CMS.
- Ensure daily content targets and goals are met by utilising digital analytics and metrics to strengthen our editorial output.
- Manage and publish to Time Out Ras Al Khaimah s social media channels.
- Oversee newsletter content curation and dispatch.
- Regularly check and track evergreen longform content. Ensure content is optimised for search and of the highest quality.
- Produce and present weekly reports to the Head of Content.
- Work with Time Out s video team to create successful video content relevant to the brand s audience.
- Work with the Head of Content to create and manage a digital editorial calendar. Keep it current identifying commercial and audience opportunities within it and communicating them to other teams.
- Work with the Head of Content to ensure ALL content reflects Time Out s overall content / editorial strategy.
- Ensure Time Out s editorial standards are met all relevant copyrights have been cleared content is optimised for SEO and content meets local and legal guidelines.
- Have your finger on the pulse of the local scene quickly identifying emerging trends that will make great content.
- Be a doer.
- Must be passionate about unearthing the greatest things happening in their city.
- Excellent grasp and understanding of SEO best practice.
- A demonstrable passion for and excellent knowledge of digital and social content creation.
- Highest standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise accordingly.
- Flexibility and a professional approach at all times.
- Fluent English; Arabic desirable.
