Radio Technician
A reputable radio station in Dubai is seeking an experienced Radio Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radio broadcasting equipment and maintenance, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but proficiency in English is required.
As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment used for radio broadcasting, including transmitters, receivers, audio consoles, and antennas. You will troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during live broadcasts or recordings and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly at all times.
In addition to technical duties, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventory of spare parts and ordering new equipment when necessary. You will work closely with other members of the production team to ensure smooth operation during live broadcasts and assist with setting up equipment for remote broadcasts.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in radio broadcasting or a related field. A degree or diploma in electronics or a similar field is preferred. Experience with digital audio systems, automation software, and remote control systems is highly desirable.
This position requires someone who can work well under pressure and has excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently is crucial for success in this role. You must also have strong communication skills as you will be working closely with other members of the production team.
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this full-time position. This role does not include accommodation so it would be ideal for candidates already living in Dubai or those willing to secure their own housing arrangements.
