Job Description

1. To oversee the Housekeeping operations, including the Laundry and the Internal Communication Center, ensuring that the hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.
2. To ensure that all the rooms are prepared and inspected as per standards and according to guest requests and needs, including the Turn Down service.
3. To ensure that the flower decorations in the rooms and public areas are always maintained as per the required standards.
4. To ensure the upkeeping of all the front of the house, including the hotel entrance.
5. To ensure the upkeeping of all the designated back of the house areas.
6. To ensure appropriate stock level for the smooth run of the Housekeeping and Laundry operations and to approve requisitions accordingly.
7. To ensure that the inventories of linen, uniforms and other applicable items are done and recorded as scheduled.
8. To deal with different suppliers and contractors.
9. To overlook the Pest Control service and jointly with the Stewarding Manager and Chief Engineer to establish the Pest Control schedules.
10. To implement housekeeping related HACCP procedures.
11. To be involved in sustainable development and to apply energy and waste management.
12. To monitor cost control and to suggest saving programs.
13. To ensure all linen and uniform management and handling procedures are respected.
14. To supervise and control Lost and Found, maintain records and mail packages to clients.
15. To be aware of all VIPs visiting or staying in the hotel. To personally inspect VIP rooms.
16. To make regular room and public area inspections with the Engineering Department on deviation from standard set-ups and maintenance. To follow up on the Out of Order and Out of service rooms.
17. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a luxury hospitality setting is required.
3. Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse housekeeping team.
4. Developing and implementing housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to ensure exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
5. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any housekeeping-related issues that may arise.
