Job summary
A leading engineering firm seeks an experienced Civil Inspector in Abu Dhabi for a contract position. The successful candidate will inspect excavation activities, verify quality checks, and ensure compliance with engineering standards. Candidates should have a diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in power or industrial projects. The position does not allow for remote work.
Qualifications
- 7 years experience as Civil Inspector on foundations/earthworks.
- Experience on power plant or heavy industrial projects preferred.
Responsibilities
- Inspect foundations excavation backfilling and compaction activities.
- Verify rebar formwork and anchor bolts before concrete pours.
- Witness soil and concrete tests and review results.
- Ensure civil works meet drawings specs ITPs and HSE rules.
