Job summary
A local event management company is looking for a proficient event coordinator to support the planning and execution of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Responsibilities include managing budgets, event logistics, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring regulatory compliance and innovative strategies are embraced throughout the event lifecycle. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, handling various tasks that enhance event experiences and support organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and management of DSF event plans including resource allocation and budgeting.
- Support the creation of event budgets and implement financial management controls.
- Manage on-ground event delivery and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Classify events based on scope, attendance, and budget.
- Contribute to project one-pagers defining budgets and objectives.
- Collaborate with procurement on RFPs/RFIs and supplier management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for DSF stakeholders.
- Suggest creative content elements for engaging events.
- Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans for events.
- Ensure safety protocols are in place and maintained.
