Loss Prevention Coordinator | UAE National only
Job summary
A leading e-commerce company in Dubai is looking for a professional in loss prevention to manage site security and conduct risk assessments. The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in stakeholder management. Familiarity with retail or logistics security and the ability to work under pressure are crucial. This role includes travel between Emirates and requires a valid driving license.
Qualifications
- Experience in investigative or loss prevention field, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience managing stakeholders.
- Travel between Emirates/sites is needed; driving license required.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk assessment of site and develop mitigation measures.
- Manage physical security and oversee surveillance device functionality.
- Conduct investigations, identify root causes, and write reports.
- Build effective relationships and manage optimization trackers.
- Oversee vendor performance against SLAs.
- Train staff on emergency response procedures.
Skills
- Experience in investigative or loss prevention field preferably in a retail e‑commerce warehouse and manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.Advanced level of computer literacy including proficiency in the MS Office package.
- Strong communication skills & basic knowledge of verbal & English/vernacular language.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with business tools & understand business metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to perform in a pressure environment with adherence to timelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills & proven experience in managing stakeholders and vendors.
- Strong business ethics, integrity and discretion.
- Travel between Emirates/sites will be required; driving license & transport is essential.
- Perform risk assessment of site & operation model and frame mitigation measures.
- Manage physical security of sites through guarding service & monitor optimum functioning of electronic surveillance devices.
- Conduct detailed investigations within the policy framework, identify root cause & write reports, develop management action plan for process formulation / compliance / improvement.
- Drive corrective and preventive process changes that could impact shrink‑reduction matrix positively.
- Build effective working relationships within the team & manage stakeholders to drive closure of optimization trackers / management action plan.
- Effectively manage security services vendor for SLA adherence and conduct training for guarding force on S&LP processes.
- Manage preventative maintenance of physical devices and train staff on emergency response.
- Coordinate with government agencies at site level.
- Experience in the military or law enforcement is preferred as well as retail or logistics security management experience.
- Industry licensed (e.g. SIRA, SIA, etc.).
- UAE National with a family book.
- Emirati National.
