Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating welding equipment in accordance with established safety regulations
• Reading blueprints and drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
• Performing manual and semi-automatic welding operations on various parts, components, or structures

• Performing minor repairs on equipment as needed
• Maintaining adequate supplies of consumable materials
