Job summary

A leading technology firm is currently looking for a Web & Mobile App Designer for their operations in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will develop intuitive and engaging designs for mobile banking applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle. Candidates must have expert skills in design tools such as Photoshop and Figma, with a background in the BFSI industry. This full-time position does not offer remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to outline the apps layout and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into functional mobile apps.
• Participate in the development process from definition through design, build, test, release, and maintenance.
• Present user interface concepts to the development team and iterate designs as needed.
• Work with Frontend engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design requirements.
• Conduct usability testing and user research to gather insights.

Requirements

• Staying uptodate with the latest UI/UX trends and industry best practices
• Proven ability to deliver high quality designs to customers.
• A team player who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
• Expert level skills in Photoshop Adobe InDesign Illustrator Dreamweaver Photoshop Figma and other relevant design tools.
• Experience in BFSI industry designing mobile banking apps and web application for 56 years.
• Experience in designing the Digital onboarding journey of New To Bank customers using mobile banking app.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive usable and engaging interactions and visual designs for mobile.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to outline the apps layout and functionality providing a blueprint for development.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional mobile apps.
• Participate in the development process from definition through design build test release and maintenance.
• Presenting user interface concepts and designs clearly and effectively to the development team for implementation incorporating feedback and iterating designs as needed
• Working closely with Frontend engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design requirements providing necessary design assets and ensuring the design vision is maintained in the final product
• Conducting usability testing and user research to gather insights and data
