Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience in an administrative or similar position.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration support to the ward/unit.
• Ensure clinical and non-clinical stock is sufficient.
• Promote patient satisfaction.
• Update and ensure accuracy of medical insurance information.

Skills

Computer literacy (MS Office package)

Verbal and written communication skills in English

Medical terminology

Demonstrate knowledge of patient care support procedures

Understanding of stock control processes and systems

Insurance claim procedures

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent (Grade 12)

Secretarial Diploma and/or Basic Nursing background
