Our client a prestigious hospitality establishment in Abu Dhabi is looking to hire a dynamic and professional Waiter to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced and vibrant environment. As a Waiter you will be responsible for ensuring customers have a memorable dining experience by delivering exceptional service. You will take orders, serve food and beverages and ensure a clean, well organised environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive in a friendly and professional manner.
• Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage items and make recommendations when necessary.
• Accurately take customer orders ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Ensure that guests are satisfied with their meals and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Offer additional menu items (e.g., desserts, drinks) to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the service area from order taking to food delivery.
• Handle customer complaints or inquiries with professionalism and escalate to the manager when necessary.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safe and sanitary handling of food and beverages.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role (preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be 58 in height.
• No visible tattoos.
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude.Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus and service techniques.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends/ Split shift.
• A valid UAE work permit is preferred (if applicable).
