The Waiter will be responsible for greeting and seating guests at tables, taking orders, ensuring that all orders are delivered promptly and accurately, responding to guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner. They must also maintain cleanliness of the dining area. Additionally, they should ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:
• Greeting customers upon arrival at the restaurant; seating them at tables or in waiting areas; providing menus; suggesting specials; answering questions about menu items; taking orders from customers; inputting orders into point of sale systems; delivering food items from kitchen staff to customers’ tables; responding promptly to customer inquiries or complaints; collecting payment from customers after meals have been served; reconciling cash register receipts with total payments received each shift.
• Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed according to company policy.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area throughout each shift by wiping down tables, chairs, counters etc.; polishing glassware; sweeping floors; stocking service areas with supplies such as napkins, utensils etc.; cleaning up spills or broken dishes promptly.
