VP of Operations – Smart Bricks

Smart Bricks is building the world’s AI infrastructure for global real estate investing — compressing the traditional six-month property acquisition cycle into minutes. We ingest millions of data feeds; run forward-looking AI valuation and ROI prediction models; and enable seamless cross-border transaction execution. We’re backed by 500 Global, Techstars, and angels from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, Airbnb, Blackstone, and more. We’re scaling at breakneck speed, and we now need a VP of Operations who can turn our momentum into a world-class, repeatable, scalable organisation. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the Founder & CEO.

What you’ll own

• Build and run the full operational engine of Smart Bricks: customer operations, brokerage operations, data operations, and internal business ops.
• Translate the company’s strategy into clear, measurable execution plans across all teams.
• Own the core KPIs of the business: unit economics, cycle times, throughput, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance.
• Design and optimise processes across acquisition, onboarding, brokerage, valuations, investor workflows, and fulfilment.
• Lead cross-functional operations, making sure teams stay aligned and accountable.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Data to automate and streamline workflows using AI agents and internal tooling.
• Build the operational playbooks, SOPs, dashboards, QA frameworks, and weekly cadences that will take us from Seed → Series A → global scale.
• Own regulatory and compliance processes across markets and ensure we operate cleanly and confidently as we expand.
• Recruit, scale, and coach high-performance operations teams across multiple verticals.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO, giving clarity on what’s working, what’s breaking, and what needs to happen next.

What you bring

• 8–15+ years in operations, ideally in high-growth tech (fintech, proptech, AI, marketplaces) or top-tier consulting.
• Experience building and scaling operations from 0→1 and 1→100.
• Strong understanding of real estate, cross-border transactions, brokerage operations, or investment workflow design (a plus, not mandatory).
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex, multi-market operations.
• Deep process design instincts — you love reducing chaos, building clarity, and creating systems that scale.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset; comfortable owning dashboards, KPIs, and operational modelling.
• Leadership that is calm under pressure, decisive, and execution-obsessed.
