Job summary

A leading property development company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Design Manager to manage vertical and mixed-use design activities for projects under construction. The role involves providing design direction, overseeing consultant contracts, and ensuring adherence to standards. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in design processes and a minimum of 2 years in a managerial position. A Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering is required, along with strong analytical, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Qualifications

• Min of 10+ years of experience in design process for developments with CAPEX 4+ billion AED.
• Min of 2+ years in a managerial position.
• Experience in the retail estate sector and construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage vertical and mixed-use design activities across all projects.
• Provide overall design direction on feasibility / test fits.
• Oversee and approve tender evaluations for technical submissions.
• Manage consultant contracts in relation to contract implementation.
• Ensure adherence to Estidama standards and government permits.
