About the Role
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to lead the user experience design for a new CRM system initially targeted at the travel industry and later scalable to additional sectors. This is a highly strategic and hands‑on role where you will shape the entire UX architecture, user flows, wireframes, and interface logic for a new platform that will be used by travel agencies, tour operators, travel advisors, and eventually businesses across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will have strong UX expertise, a deep understanding of CRM systems, and industry experience in the travel sector. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to design a CRM that is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with the specific workflows of travel professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- UX Strategy & Research: Conduct user research within the travel industry (agents, operators, travel consultants). Gather requirements and translate them into UX strategies tailored to industry workflows.
- Analyse existing travel CRMs and identify gaps, pain points, and areas for innovation.
- Create user personas, client journeys, and workflow maps.
- UX Design & Prototyping: Develop UX architecture, system flows, and information hierarchy for the CRM.
- Create wireframes, low‑fidelity prototypes, and high‑fidelity interactive mock‑ups.
- Design intuitive dashboards, booking workflows, lead management interfaces, and automation screens.
- Ensure the platform is scalable for future expansion into non‑travel industries.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with developers to translate UX designs into functional product components.
- Collaborate with UI designers, product owners, and business leaders.
- Provide clear UX documentation, guidelines, and interaction specifications.
- Participate in sprints, design reviews, and feedback cycles.
- Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct testing sessions with travel professionals. Use feedback to refine and optimise user flows, continuously improve usability, accessibility, and user satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Required
- Essential Minimum: 4+ years’ experience as a UX Designer.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, including workflow logic, lead management, reporting, pipelines, and automation features.
- Experience designing SaaS or enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in UX research, wireframing, and prototyping (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.). Ability to design complex user journeys and data‑heavy interfaces.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Highly Advantageous: Experience in the travel industry (travel tech, booking systems, GDS tools, tour operator systems, travel agency operations).
- Understanding of travel sector workflows: Trip planning, Booking management, Supplier interaction, Enquiry‑to‑booking lifecycle, Itinerary building.
- Familiarity with travel CRM tools (e.g., TravelJoy, Travefy, Salesforce Travel extensions, etc.).
