Job Description

We're looking for a mid‑to‑senior UI/UX Designer who brings strong product thinking to complex physical operational challenges. You'll own the design for our internal operations and facility management systems, working across web‑based dashboards and mobile applications that power the backbone of our business operations. This isn't a role for someone who just executes mock‑ups. We need a designer who asks the right questions, understands operational workflows, and can independently drive discovery without the PM doing the thinking for you.

Responsibilities
  • Design for web and mobile based solutions
  • End‑to‑end design process: discovery, user research, interaction design, visual design, and design system contribution
  • User flows and system states for complex operational workflows
  • Close collaboration with Product Manager to translate business requirements into elegant solutions
  • Contributing to and evolving our Figma component library and design system
Requirements
Product Thinking
  • Can independently define problems and propose solutions, not just execute briefs
  • Asks clarifying questions and challenges assumptions with design rationale
  • Understands user needs in operational contexts (internal tools, production workflows)
Design Craft
  • UI/UX Designer, Operations 4 years designing web‑based applications and mobile products
  • Portfolio demonstrating complex workflows, internal tools, or B2B systems
  • Strong interaction design skills you think in flows and states, not just screens
  • Experience with design systems and component libraries
Context & Collaboration
  • Can grasp operational complexity quickly (production workflows, logistics, internal operations)
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams to translate designs into implementable specs
  • Can conduct user research and synthesis independently
  • Clear communicator who documents decisions and rationale
Tools
  • Expert in Figma (design and prototyping)
  • Comfortable with design system thinking and component architecture
  • Bonus: Experience with analytics tools (Mix Panel, Hex) or prototyping with code
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Experience designing for operations, logistics, or production management systems
  • Background in B2B SaaS, internal tools, or enterprise software
  • Understanding of technical constraints and engineering trade‑offs
  • Can facilitate design workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions
What We're Not Looking For
  • Designers who wait for detailed specs before starting
  • Pure visual designers without product thinking
  • People who need PMs to do all the discovery work
  • Designers uncomfortable with ambiguity or complex operational domains
Our Stack
  • Design: Figma, Figma Make
  • Product: JIRA, Notion, Mix Panel
  • Platform: React Native (mobile), web‑based internal tools
