Job Summary

The Training Manager Assistant supports the site training team in organizing and managing training activities to ensure Client O&M personnel are properly trained. This role also provides administrative and logistical support to facilitate effective training delivery and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Training Manager in scheduling and coordinating safety, technical, and operational training sessions in classroom settings.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and attend technical and operational site visits.
  • Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and certification documentation.
  • Organize onboarding and orientation sessions for trainers and personnel involved in training sessions.
  • Coordinate with trainers, supervisors, and site personnel to facilitate training activities.
  • Organize setup and logistics for training sessions, including venue arrangements and equipment.
  • Monitor training course participation and feedback.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during training activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to training documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate with training providers (vendors/contractors) to obtain Trainer CVs and Training Materials, including follow-up on the same subjects.
  • Prepare for LMCC (Learning Module Completion Certificate).
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings relevant to training subjects as requested.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in safety, administration, or training-related fields is a plus.
  • Previous experience in construction site or office support and administration.
  • Experience in technical training program conceptual design, delivery, testing/evaluation, preferably in refining/petrochemicals.
  • Experience coordinating technical and non-technical training projects and instructional staff is a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; strong writing and editing ability.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
  • Team-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
