Job description

Overview

Siemens NX engineer and Lead trainer. The preferred candidate is expected to participate within less than 30 to 45 days. The role requires a mechanical engineering background and experience with Siemens PLM, Teamcenter, and NX CAD integration. Open to all citizenships; gender inclusive.

Responsibilities

• Fundamentals and advanced training for NX developers.
• Develop and apply Teamcenter ECO system within the organization.
• Teamcenter integration with Siemens NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, and other tools (where applicable).
• Assist in configuring PLM libraries, Style BOM, EBOM, and MBOM as needed.
• Provide end-user training when required and resolve technical issues or recommend workarounds.
• Evaluate and classify issues, resolve them, and create knowledge records for resolutions.
• Collaborate with PLM Support Group to address end-user concerns and improve the customer experience.
• Ensure effective documentation of resolutions and maintain multilingual collaboration across departments/branches.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Teamcenter support, including NX CAD integration.
• Deep understanding of Siemens PLM principles with emphasis on Teamcenter.
• Licensed Teamcenter and/or CAD integration training is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, etc. (optional).
• Knowledge of Style BOM, EBOM, MBOM, and PLM library setup (optional).
• Familiarity with production environments (e.g., private yachts, automotive) is a plus (optional).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent patience, analytical problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to document resolutions clearly; capable of working with multi-cultural teams across departments.

Location: Umm al-Quwain City. Ability to commute or relocate prior to starting the job (required).
