KONE has an excellent opportunity for Field Support Technicians (testers) to join our team in Dubai.

Responsibilities and key activities:

• Caring about safety on site by applying good safety practices.
• Manage onsite communication with the customer for day‑to‑day testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor.
• Test the unit in accordance to the codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe, the internal and external KONE quality standards are fulfilled and the unit is in function according to contractual requirements.
• Commission the equipment according to agreed specifications and commissioning instructions.
• Carrying out the final inspection and signing the final inspection documents.
• Perform or participate in the notified bodies or consultant inspections. Also participate in the customer handover if necessary.
• Identify installation quality issues and deviations that require corrective action and report them to his Field Supervisor who is responsible for all site activities.
• Actively participate in quality working groups to improve based on snag lists produced and other technical issues found during inspections and information sharing.
• Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions at work and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives.

Are You the One

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry (mandatory).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication.
• Basic IT skills preferred.
