Job summary

A leading financial institution in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Teller Floater to provide quality teller services. You will process transactions accurately while projecting a professional image in all dealings. Key responsibilities include cash deposits, withdrawals, and supporting Private Banking customers. Candidates should have strong knowledge of banking products and UAE regulations. A level of proficiency in computer skills is also required, alongside readiness to cover different branches as needed.

Location

Role Purpose

Delivering quality teller service to customers via accurate and efficient processing, while projecting ADIB’s professional image in all interpersonal dealings.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Processing of all teller counter service transactions such as cash deposits & cash withdrawals and other transactions such as drafts, telegraphic-transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchase & sales, cheque deposits etc., in line with operational policies & procedures and within the agreed time frames.
  2. Where centralized telegraphic transfers are involved liaise with Treasury department to obtain best rates for VIP & or high net worth customers in coordination with HOP’s.
  3. These responsibilities may also include serving Private Banking customers at separate counters and also processing any other counter service transaction introduced by ADIB from time to time.
  4. Cross sell or identify and refer product inquiries from prospective customers to Sales staff.
  5. General reconciliation & control activities:
    • Act as the one of dual custodian for branch vault cash and security stationery
    • Assist HOP as the second custodian for dual control.
    • Cash reconciliation & balancing
    • End of day balancing
    • General filing
  6. To be ready to cover different branches in the area when required with high skills set to meet the network logistics and volume.
  7. Ensure proper understanding and processing for all centralized activities as per Branch Operations Centralization Projects.
