Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to support the design and engineering of telecommunications systems for onshore oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of relevant experience with a strong background in FEED and Detailed Engineering, and familiarity with ADNOC or similar Middle Eastern project standards is a significant advantage. Responsibilities include developing engineering deliverables, collaborating with other engineering disciplines, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of relevant experience in telecom engineering within the onshore oil and gas industry.
• Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering phases is essential.
• Good understanding of applicable international codes and standards (e.g. IEC, ITU, NEC, NFPA).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of telecom engineering activities from FEED through Detailed Design.
• Develop engineering deliverables including telecom design basis and equipment specifications.
• Ensure compliance with international standards and client-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for effective telecom system integration.
