We're recruiting a Supply Chain Manager - Oil & Gas - (UAE & Iraq) for one of our clients, who is a leading oil and gas company in Dubai, UAE.

About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established oil and gas‑focused organization with a strong presence in industrial trading, project supply, and engineering support services. The company works closely with OEMs, manufacturers, and authorized distributors to deliver high‑quality equipment, materials, and solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop procurement strategies for industrial materials, equipment, spare parts, and project‑based supplies
  • Source from OEMs, manufacturers, and authorized distributors at local and international levels
  • Evaluate suppliers based on technical compliance, cost efficiency, lead times, and reliability
  • Manage logistics for bulk, heavy, oversized, and high‑value industrial cargo
  • Coordinate sea, air, and land transportation between the UAE and Iraq, including border movements
  • Oversee import and export compliance for industrial goods in both the UAE and Iraq
  • Manage warehouses handling industrial inventory, spare parts, and project materials
  • Support tendering and bidding processes by providing logistics costs, lead times, and feasibility inputs
  • Monitor supply chain budgets, freight charges, customs duties, and warehousing expenses
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier delays, border challenges, and geopolitical factors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
  • 8‑15 years of experience in industrial trading or project‑based supply chain operations
  • Strong exposure to UAE‑Iraq industrial trade routes and cross‑border logistics
  • Proven experience in OEM sourcing, heavy logistics, and project cargo handling
  • Solid understanding of industrial standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an added advantage
